Photo Reflection of the Day #47: Eye See Snow!

What Is It

An ice-ball with blue dye in a snow bank.

Why It's Today's Pick

My wife decided that she wasn't going to let the snowpocalypse let her down too much and had some fun.  She filled balloons with water and dye and let them freeze overnight.  The result were globes of colored ice that she put in our pathway to the house.  I took a few shots to capture it, but I liked this one best as the ice globe looks a wee bit like an eyeball, especially with the curve line of the snow and the lighter outer edge.  The sun (yay--sun) also provides some reflection.  When you look closer, you see some other attributes such as some snow and melted dye on the globe itself.
