Photo Reflection of the Day #227: Red Before Dead?

Red Before Dead? 20151105_070807

What Is It

Bright red leaves with some green ones beginning to change with the autumn season.

Why It's today's Pick

Walking into North Shore Community College on the Lynn Campus, one is assaulted wtih these bright red leaves in the fall.  They're fascinating because through most of the summer and spring, they maintain a green coloring against the brown-brick backdrop of the building.  But these reds scream for one's attention as if the bush has been covered in blood.  Of course, the contrast is only made stronger because there are rows and sections interspersed where the leaves have not converted at all or are in the slow process of doing so.
